You said it is more secure because of the imaging capabilities that an alarm doesn't have. I agree with that statement, but no matter how many cameras there are, there is still a need for someone to be on constant watch. With an alarm, action can be taken quicker and the crime could be prevented instead of just investigated after it happens. There will also be no need for any tracing of people if the crime did not happen.
