What are the advantages of CCT surveilance? They can help prevent certain disasters from happening as they can watch over the people and see what they are doing. However I do not think that Singapore should install this as it intrudes into other people's privacy and majority of people do not like being watched constantly. I strongly feel that the cameras should be installed in crowded areas like Orchard Road as it is one of the most likely spots terrorists would strike and not everywhere.

I agree. Also, we should also install it at important government buildings such as Parliament House and Istana as terrorists tend to target country leaders. Not only that, we should place CCTV in crowded places such as major shopping malls and hawker centres. People don't not like being watched, as it intrudes their privacy.
