I feel that CCTV cameras are useful as they act as a deterrent against threats and can provide critical evidence during trials and police investigations. However, there is no need to use them with extreme intensity, as it is unnecessary and costly. I feel that CCTVs should only be used in appropriate places like shops or bus terminals. Concerning privacy, I am not overtly concerned as I have nothing to hide. However, if the CCTV cameras are positioned somewhere sensitive like in a toilet, then of course issues on privacy will have to be addressed.

student 1 >I'm not very sure what the questions are.

student 2>I feel that CCTVs are only needed at these places as they a vital locations. Since Singapore is a relatively safe country<\, i feel that the is no need to put them on places like streets.

student 3> The toilet is only an example.A better example could be in places like HDB corridors where people may feel like they are being spied on.
