I feel that security cameras are useful as they can help prevent crime or terrorism. It can also give the police information about an upcoming protest, riot or strike. This can allow an environment that is safer and much more peaceful. It can allow the police to find out about the ones involved in robberies and other crimes, allowing a much easier capture of the culprit.

What if the terrorist or criminals deactivate, destroy or steal the cameras? During the period of time when the CCTV camera is absent, the amount of illegal acts committed could increase. I suggest that we should give the CCTV cameras some form of security to prevent it from being tampered with. JONATHAN SOH
