I would defend my home, my family and friends. If we do not have a home, where can we go, where would we live? The family forms the basic unit of society, without which life would be quite meaningless. Our family and friends are important as they are people whom we can depend on to help us in times of need.
The three aspects that are important would be determination, perseverance and steadfastness. Determination will keep me going forward. Perseverance will help me weather the challenges. Steadfastness will keep me on the task.
All these would help me to decide what and who to defend and protect in times of crisis. This is becoming more important as there is always a threat that terrorists might strike Singapore one day. We must always be on our guard and be ready to defend wholeheartedly what we feel is most important and dear to us.
