Gerald Tong(38) comments on What would I defend? (Kevin Wong)
What I would hold most dear, would be my country, my family, and my friends.
My three aspects would be loyalty, courage and determination.
We need to be loyal to our country, our friends and family. Because, without them, we would not be who we are.
We need courage in times of darkness. We need the courage to go on. We need to courage to do things that we must do. But, to have the courage to do these things, we must have determination, which brings me to the next aspect.
Determination. We sorely need it, for without it, we would be unable to do many things.
i agree on most of your stated aspects but not too much on loyalty.Would you really stand up for your country? I am sure that your family is much more important. You would most likely secure the safety of your family members.Would you stay back and risk your life? It is also important to play smart not just your guts to do something.
